PM: Look at R&D, move up value chain

PM said adapting currently available technology and localising them to suit specific community needs, is a good starting point. He said Malaysia recognised the significant role that knowledge, technology and innovation could play to create wealth and spur economic growth. He also said at the opening of the 3rd Global Knowledge Conference, the lack of local content for developing countries is one of the key factors leading to the widening of the global digital divide.

Mapdoo has always been focused on organizing Malaysia's information to provide a platform of rich localised contents and making it universally accessible and useful through the maps. Hopefully we could contribute a little on this front...
